The audit log is a permanent record of every significant action taken in your Crewly organisation. It tells you who did what, when, and to whom.
What gets logged
Every action that changes data in Crewly is logged, including:
- Member status changes
- Rank changes and promotions
- Discipline cases opened, modified, or revoked
- Leave requests submitted, approved, and denied
- Flight scheduling, status changes, and cancellations
- Attendance sessions opened and closed
- Quota period creation and rollover
- Plugin settings changes
- Org settings changes
- Invite code creation and redemption
- Role mapping changes
- Sync events
Reading the audit log
The audit log is at Audit Log in the sidebar. Each entry shows:
- Action — what happened, in plain English
- Member — who performed the action
- Target — who or what was affected
- Time — when it happened, with relative and absolute timestamps
You can filter by member, action type, and date range.
History limits by plan
| Plan | History |
|---|
| Free | Last 7 days |
| Pro | Unlimited |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
Free plan audit logs are automatically filtered to the last 7 days. Older entries exist in the database but are not shown. Upgrade to Pro to access full history.
Who can see the audit log
Members with the Org settings admin permission can access the full audit log. The audit log page is not visible to regular members.
Members can see their own activity in their Account page under the Activity tab — this shows their own actions across all organisations they belong to.
Audit log in member profiles
Every member profile shows a condensed activity feed on the Overview tab. This shows recent actions that involved that member — discipline issued, rank changes, leave approved, and so on. This is visible to members with the View members permission.
Data retention
Audit log entries are never automatically deleted. The 7-day limit on Free plan is a display filter only — the data is retained. If you upgrade to Pro, your full history becomes visible immediately.
