What Attendance adds
- Crew manifest logging per flight or session
- Standalone sessions not linked to a scheduled flight
- Personal flight history for every member
- Session duration tracking per crew member
- Quota integration — attendance entries count toward quota targets
Sessions
An attendance session is an open or closed record of who participated in a flight or activity. Sessions have a type that matches your org’s flight types — Line Flight, Training, Event, Charter, or any custom types you’ve defined.Linked sessions
When a flight isSERVER OPEN in Operations, a host with the Log attendance permission can open an attendance session linked to that flight. The session inherits the flight’s type and route.
Standalone sessions
If Operations is disabled, or for activities that don’t have a scheduled flight, hosts can create a standalone session directly from the Attendance page.Standalone sessions require a title if your org has enabled that setting in Settings → Plugins → Attendance.
Opening a session
Go to Attendance and click Open Session, or open one from the flight detail page in Operations. When the session opens, the host is automatically added to the manifest as the first crew entry. Additional crew members are then added manually as they join the server. Each entry records:- Who was on the flight
- When they joined the session
- How long they were on
Closing a session
Click Close Session when the flight ends. The session is marked complete and all durations are finalised. Closed sessions feed into quota calculations automatically.Crew manifest
The session detail page shows the full crew manifest — everyone who was logged, their rank, join time, and duration. Rank breakdown and a session timeline are also shown.Member history
Every member’s profile shows their full attendance history on the Attendance tab — recent sessions, total hours, and a monthly activity chart. Members with the View own attendance permission can see their own history. Members with View org attendance can see everyone’s.Quota integration
Attendance entries automatically count toward quota if the session’s flight type has Counts towards quota enabled. This is configured per flight type in Settings → General → Flight Types — not in Attendance settings.Settings
Go to Settings → Plugins → Attendance to configure:- Allow standalone sessions — whether sessions can be created without a linked flight
- Require title on standalone — force a title when creating standalone sessions
- Auto-close sessions — automatically close open sessions after a set time
- Enforce max crew — prevent adding crew beyond a session maximum
- Allow late entry — whether crew can be added after the session has been open a while
- Show sessions to all members — whether members can see sessions exist
- Show crew to members — whether members can see who else is on the manifest
